My name is Edina
As a Councilwoman, I served my community through many challenging times: civil unrest, the protests of May 2020, and the Covid-19 pandemic, just to name a few. I had to make critical decisions with colleagues who saw the world differently than I did.
It wasn't a given that everyone agreed on every decision. Yet, we had to manage a multi-million dollar budget, fix the roads, and serve our community—even when division was simmering underneath it all. It took me years of trial and error to discover how to develop diplomacy and work efficiently with others, despite having polarizing perspectives.
The experiences back then taught me the communication strategies that actually work when stakes are high, emotions run higher, and agreement feels impossible.
At the core of everything I teach is this intention: To help humans fill the need for connection and understanding through intentional communication.
Personally and professionally, your connections impact your mood and even your health. When you communicate well, your life improves.
Even when the communication is to express a need or a boundary clearly, you can do so without the angst and conflict that commonly come with hard conversations.
I'll teach you and your team how to build bridges and meet goals even when everyone has differing opinions and perspectives.
